I would love a copy of Inspired because I have been doing a lot of deconstructing lately. I find that the more I learn the less I know. Inspired sounds like a very good book to help me on my journey. I would also love to pass this book on to my sister who has questions of her own.
I would love a copy of Inspired. It would be a great book to read after having read Better Ways To Read The Bible. I’m on the deconstruction/reconstruction path so any tools will be helpful !
I would love a copy of Inspired. I was introduced to Rachel Held Evans this summer through Sarah Bessey and read her book Braving the Truth. Your book BWTRTB has been instrumental in helping me with reconstruction and I want more like it!
I have been happily leaning on this Substack and my new church after going through church trauma and deconstructing. I’m always looking for more resources to help me feel more comfortable with the Bible. And I’m not sure if I ever was comfortable with the Bible in the way that it had been interpreted to me previously. Would you say this book is a good recommendation to those who aren’t sure what they believe at all anymore? 💖🥺
Rachel Held Evans was in the same boat, Gabby. I love her Searching for Sunday which is more narrative/memoir about her deconstruction process if you’re looking for something more personal. This one is excellent if you want more info about how to understand the Bible. Glad you’re here 💛
I'd really love a copy of Inspired because I've been deconstructing/reconstructing and Rachel's books have been so helpful for me. I just read Searching for Sunday this summer and Inspired was next up on my "to read" list!

I'd love to read this book, Inspired, because it's highly recommended by Zach! That's all I need to know 😜

Gabby, I really loved I've Got Questions from Erin H. Moon, as she wrestled with many of these same questions about church, the bible and belief.
This is an excellent recommendation, Janelle! There also an accompanying journal.
Would love to win and gift this to someone :)

Wanted to see comments on your heart-rending "Do We Really Care About Kids."
Hoping it might trigger compassionate nuance to the difficult question of how best to intervene in parental abuse or negligence.
