Happy Easter, Zach! This was such a powerful way to start this Easter morning. Thank you for reminding us, for reminding me, of the wonder of God’s grace for all people this morning! Wow.
Happy Easter, Zach. I've noticed this more and more since I've been a Christian. There's this "list" of people grace doesn't cover. Great message for today.
I love this. This is exactly the reason I could not continue going to the evangelical church I’d attended all my life. There was little love and abundant fear.
God is great! God is good! We are blessed in His grace.
I am on my way with a hammer and a few nails to post this up on the door of every church, every bible study, and quite possibly every pub that I can find. Wonderful bit of celebratory writing for Easter, I hope y'all enjoy the day with your people!
Great message my friend. Reminds me somewhat of the Grace vs Law arguments we would have in seminary. This passage in Galatians rings so true. “I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” There is the reason for the season. Let us rejoice Easter people!!
While I, myself, cannot claim to be Christian, I appreciate many of the philosophical aspects of Christianity and try to keep up with how it has been dragged from the principles I found compelling within it to what I consider to be an unrecognizable form by Right Wing opportunists.
I feel the following video parallels your argument regarding the tendency of individuals to claim “God’s Grace” while simultaneously denying it to others.
My only change would be to this: “Jesus offers that life and love to absolutely everyone who wants it.” I would say he offers it to absolutely everyone. Period. Even those who do not want it. He offers it to those IN brokenness, even those actively engaged in evil, hatred, or misguidedness. He loves the beauty and the divinity in each person, even when it is hidden deep within and cannot quite be seen.

What a God we have! Christ is Risen!!!!
He is risen indeed!

The cool thing about grace is that, no matter how much you extend it to others or yourself, there’s always more. God’s grace is infinite.
Amazing Truth expressed here! Happy Easter…God’s greatest blessings to all.
May we all be humbled and grateful on this joyous Easter Sunday. Thank you for the message!
Thank you for stating this so well. So good to hear for me this week.

Maybe someone else will also find it heartening and calming in our current dilemma.
Thanks again for your work.
